In the table below, most rows are comprised of four columns: 1) a transliteration of the Arabic term(s); 2) the English equivalent(s); 3) an icon to play the audio clip of the Arabic pronunciation; and 4) the text in Arabic script.

Unless otherwise noted, all verbs are in the singular masculine form. The plural form of the verb is used out of respect and as a matter of formality when addressing females.

Where there are variants presented due to gender and/or number, an additional cell for each may be added to the relevant table row. Such variants, along with words or phrases where usage of specific gender and/or number is of significance, also are appended by "[m.]" for masculine, "[f.]" for feminine, "[s.]" for singular and "[pl.]" for plural, alone or in appropriate combinations (e.g., "[f./s.]" would indicate a construction that is both feminine and singular). Where such variants are presented, the audio cell in the table row also contains additional audio icons for the corresponding Arabic pronunciations.
